Learning | Plasticity | Development

Welcome to my homepage. I am a Psychologist and a Cognitive Neuroscientist. I am interested in the mechanisms of learning and brain plasticity and in changes of these mechanisms over the life span. I earned a Diplom degree in Psychology (equivalent to an M.Sc. degree) at the University of Regensburg in Germany with Mark Greenlee. I then moved on to complete a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience at Dartmouth College (USA) with Peter Tse. Thereafter I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Brown University (USA) with Takeo Watanabe. I am currently leading an independent Emmy Noether research group with support from the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft at the Institute for Psychology at the University of Regensburg. Please email me at sebastian1.frank@psychologie.uni-regensburg.de.
